Lee County School System Calendar 2027–2028

Lee County School System has a precisely staged funnel for 5,667 K–12 students. One early route runs from Lee County Primary to Lee County Elementary and then Lee County Middle School East. The other moves from Kinchafoonee Primary to Twin Oaks Elementary and Lee County Middle School West. Both groups meet for ninth grade at Lee High School Ninth Grade Campus before transferring to the main Lee County High School for grades ten through twelve.

The two primary schools end after second grade, and the paired elementary schools serve grades three through five. This is not a districtwide choice between similarly aged campuses; the attendance zone connects each primary to a particular upper-elementary and middle route. The East and West identities persist through eighth grade, then disappear at the freshman campus.

The Ninth Grade Campus functions as a separate full-year stage in the district’s secondary progression. It is the countywide bridge where previously separate middle-school populations begin one secondary program. A household planning several grade levels may need four different pieces of the Lee map: the primary pair, its corresponding elementary, the East or West middle school, and the ninth-grade handoff before the final high-school campus.
