Crawford County Schools Calendar 2026–2027

Crawford County Schools enrolled 1,455 K–12 students in a tightly centralized Roberta-based system. Crawford County Primary serves the early grades and Crawford County Elementary serves grades three through five. The district’s current public-facing directory presents the next stage as Crawford County Middle High School for grades six through twelve, even though state records continue to identify separate middle- and high-school entities.

Both descriptions can be true. The secondary grades share a combined campus identity and location while retaining separate grade-level school records for accountability and administration. A family should not infer that the county has two competing secondary destinations merely because “Middle” and “High” appear separately in a state data file, nor assume that one combined label eliminates the transition from grade eight to grade nine.

Crawford’s distinctive issue is thus the relationship between campus and school identity. The countywide route is Primary, Elementary and one secondary complex. Within that complex, middle and high school remain meaningful organizational divisions. The newer “Middle High School” wording explains where students go; the separate records explain how the system still distinguishes the two levels.
