Laurens County School District Calendar 2026–2027

Laurens County School District served 6,025 K–12 students through two secondary communities whose elementary structures are not identical. The East Laurens route is divided into East Laurens Primary for PK–2 and East Laurens Elementary for grades three through five before East Laurens Middle and High. On the west side, Northwest Laurens and Southwest Laurens each remain PK–5 schools and feed West Laurens Middle and High.

A third-grader’s transition depends on which half of the county the residence occupies. East Laurens children have already changed buildings after second grade; West Laurens children normally remain on the same elementary campus through fifth. The two routes do not merge into one county high school, since East Laurens High and West Laurens High anchor separate secondary communities.

Dublin City Schools is another boundary altogether. Some county-system schools and families use Dublin-area mailing addresses, but the independent city district operates its own schools. Laurens County must be read in two stages: first separate the city system from the county system, then distinguish the East age-banded ladder from the West K–5 feeder pattern.
