Crisp County School System Calendar 2026–2027

Crisp County School System divides the elementary years into a three-step progression. Its 3,098 K–12 students begin at Crisp County Primary, which carries students through grade three, and move to Crisp County Elementary for grades four and five. From there, the shared route proceeds through Crisp County Middle and Crisp County High. The name “Elementary” refers only to the upper two elementary grades.

The district menu also includes an Early Learning Academy and a Learning Center. The Early Learning Academy serves children before the normal K–12 sequence and provides early-childhood and related care; it is not another elementary attendance zone. The Learning Center is a specialized setting serving a distinct educational role within the district’s shared secondary route.

Crisp’s regular path is countywide and predictable, but its school labels require age-specific reading. A kindergarten family belongs at Primary, not at the campus called Elementary. A preschool enrollment at the Early Learning Academy does not by itself establish the same type of K–12 assignment. The district’s distinctiveness lies in how it separates early childhood, K–3, grades four and five, and secondary education into different institutional roles.
