About Randolph County School System
Randolph County School System reported only 557 K–12 students in 2024–25 and operates three campuses: Randolph County Elementary, Randolph County Middle and Randolph-Clay High. All three sit under Randolph County governance. The hyphenated high-school name should not be treated, by itself, as proof that the district is jointly operated with Clay County or that the campus belongs to two school boards.
What does span the entire local ladder is career and technical learning. The district currently lists computer science and elementary agriculture at Randolph County Elementary, computer science at the middle school, and graphic design, game design, and plant and landscape systems at Randolph-Clay High. That is an unusually early start for a system with only three campuses.
Randolph’s defining structure is not a complicated feeder map. It is a tiny countywide sequence in which CTAE appears before high school and continues in increasingly specialized forms. Randolph-Clay is the county’s regular high school, not a separate regional school authority; the “Clay” in its name does not create a second governance layer in the current district directory.
